Jon Farkas
Biography
Jon Farkas is a Managing Director in Capital Markets, International at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, Mr. Farkas is responsible for financing the firm’s investments in Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Starwood Capital, Mr. Farkas spent two years at BNP Paribas, where he was most recently a Director in the Real Estate Capital Markets team in London, focusing on European commercial real estate debt distribution. Before that, Mr. Farkas was a Senior Vice President at Colony Capital where he focused on European capital markets for Colony’s direct real estate investment business and European corporate operations. Mr. Farkas began his career as an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
