Project Submissions Opening Soon
The GRI Awards Global 2026 was created to recognize visionary leaders and companies that are shaping the future of real estate on a global scale. It is the GRI Institute’s highest distinction, celebrating developers, investors, and institutions that transcend excellence and drive meaningful transformation across borders.

The awards honour iconic projects in architecture, urban development, infrastructure, ESG performance, and innovation. They also recognize outstanding leadership, bold transactions, and initiatives that set new global benchmarks for the industry. Finalists and winners in each category stand as examples of quality, vision, and impact that redefine what is possible in real estate.
How does the GRI Awards Global 2026 work?
Who can participate?

Real estate companies and professionals operating in any country can submit projects, transactions, or initiatives that meet the specific eligibility criteria of each category. There is no limit to the number of projects a company may submit, as long as all entries are eligible.

What are the eligibility criteria?
  • Delivery Timeline: Projects must be completed or scheduled for completion between January 2024 and December 2030, in at least one phase.
  • Resubmissions: Projects submitted in previous GRI Awards editions may be resubmitted, provided they were not winners in their categories.
  • Multiple Categories: A single project may be submitted in multiple categories if it meets the criteria for each. It will be evaluated independently in each category.
  • Disqualification: Projects that do not meet the stated requirements will be automatically disqualified.

For more details, please refer to the official regulations.

Is there a submission fee to enter a project?

Yes. A submission fee of USD 800 per project is required for each entry. The project will only be officially eligible for evaluation after payment is confirmed.
Please note: the submission fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including for projects that are not selected as finalists, with the exception of cases where a category is cancelled due to an insufficient number of eligible submissions. For more details, please refer to the official regulations.

Is there a limit to how many projects a company can submit?

No. Companies may submit as many projects as they wish, provided that each one meets the eligibility requirements.

Who evaluates the projects?

An independent judging panel made up of industry professionals, academics, and association leaders will evaluate the submissions. No judge may vote in a category where a conflict of interest exists. In addition to expert evaluation, there will be an online public vote equivalent to one judge’s vote. In case of a tie, the GRI Institute will cast the deciding vote.
