Biography

Engenheiro Elétrico graduado pela Escola de engenharia Mauá, atualmente Roberto Kihara é Gerente Geral Comercial LATAM para o mercado de Networking, Data Center da Furukawa Electric. Desenvolveu sua carreira nas áreas comerciais e de engenharia de produtos nos setores Eletroeletrônico, Networking, Cable TV-CATV e Sistemas Integrados, atuando no Brasil e na América Latina.
Iniciou sua carreira na empresa em 1989 como engenheiro de produtos, passando a gerente comercial de Banda larga. Nos anos 2000, atuou como Gerente Geral para o Mercado de Telecom da América do Sul pela TVC/Wesco, como Diretor Comercial no mercado BMS na Tyco Integated, retornando à Furukawa em 2004, onde assumiu a Gerência Comercial da área de Canais e dos gerentes regionais, com foco no planejamento estratégico e na implantação de uma nova Política Comercial para Canais através de um Sistema de Gerenciamento de Oportunidades.
Em 2011, foi eleito o melhor executivo de canais pela Revista RTI.
