Biography
Gerard Byrne is Managing Director of Archipelago International (www.archipelagohotels.com), Indonesia’s leading hotel management company and the largest privately owned and independent hotel chain in Southeast Asia. Gerard has spent the last 10 years at the forefront of Archipelago’s leadership team. He is credited with leading its portfolio growth beyond Indonesia and the transformation of Archipelago from being a domestic market leader, to an international hotel chain with 390+ hotels (57,000+ keys) operating and under development across Southeast Asia, Oceania, the Middle East and the Americas.
