Deepesh Thakrar

I joined OakNorth Bank a few months prior to it’s initial launch in 2015. Since then, we're proud to have lent over £8bn to support fast-growth businesses. In 2021, I completed over 50 transactions, including several in the hospitality, leveraged finance and senior living sector. In 2020, I won the Corporate Banker of the Year Award at Insider Media’s South East Dealmaker Awards, having completed 30 transactions in the South East that year. Before joining OakNorth Bank, I spent almost 13 years at Santander where I was a Relationship Director originating and structuring deals for businesses with up to £50m turnover.
