Biography

Manuel Fernando Quinche is the Head Partner at Cuatrecasas in Colombia, overseeing its Banking and Finance Practice. An expert in structured and project finance, infrastructure, and M&A, he's been pivotal in Colombia's largest M&A transactions. Quinche advises both national and international clients on corporate and project finance, including commercial bank and syndicated financing, capital markets, and infrastructure projects like roads, ports, and energy transmission. Recognized as "Lawyer of the Year" by Legal 500 Colombia Awards in Projects & Infrastructure (2025, 2024) and Best Lawyers in Banking & Finance (2025, 2023), he's consistently acknowledged by Chambers & Partners and others. He holds a Master of Laws from NYU and a postgraduate degree from Universidad de los Andes. Before Cuatrecasas, Quinche worked at major law firms in Colombia and the US, and is admitted to practice in Colombia and New York. He also lectures on corporate finance.
