Alvaro Manotas
Biography
Alvaro Manotas is the CEO of Ashmore CAF Asset Management in Colombia. He brings over 27 years of extensive experience in corporate finance, with more than 18 years specializing in project finance for diverse infrastructure subsectors. Previously, Manotas held significant roles at Grupo Bancolombia, including National Director of Business Structuring and Commercial Manager of the infrastructure sector. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad de la Sabana and a specialization in Banking from Universidad de los Andes. His leadership was evident at the launch of the CAF-AM Ashmore II Senior Debt Fund for Infrastructure in Colombia in December 2024.
