Steffen Wittwer

Steffen Wittwer is the Managing Director of Sonar Development GmbH, a subsidiary of Sonar Real Estate, overseeing commercial activities in Development & Acquisition. With over 25 years in real estate project development, he specializes in innovative building and revitalization concepts. Before joining Sonar Development in May 2023, Wittwer was a Project Director at ECE Work & Live for over nine years, leading major urban development projects, constructing an insurance headquarters, and developing logistics centers. A civil engineering graduate from TH Darmstadt, he has also worked at TERRANUM and PrimeParc Real Estate. Currently, Wittwer leads new construction and revitalization projects, such as converting offices to residential spaces, for a team that has managed projects worth around EUR 500 million since 2011.
