Biography
Bernardo Asuaje is the Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Grupo Attia, a real estate development company focused on residential, hospitality and senior housing projects in Colombia and multifamily investments in the United States. He has raised and sold over USD 100MM in real estate investments, notably in the senior housing sector where his brand Casa Nua has succesfully developed and currently operates assisted living projects in the country. With this strategy, he plans on investing USD 150MM-200MM in over 20 projects in Latin America. Bernardo started his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in New York and later worked at Terranum Capital, a regional real estate private equity fund. In 2020, the World Economic Forum selected him as a Young Global Leader for his work in intergenerational integration and senior housing & care in Colombia.
