Biography
Mauricio Vaca Tavera is the Global Chief Financial Officer at Cinépolis, a position he has held since May 2006. In this role, he oversees financial operations across Mexico and 18 other countries, focusing on financial planning, resource maximization, risk management, and investment strategies. He is also responsible for the growth cluster, developing financial instruments for company expansion in national and international markets, and managing corporate governance. Vaca Tavera was recognized as CFO of the Year/IMEF 2020. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master in Science of Administration from MIT.
