Biography
James is a multi-specialist corporate finance lawyer with emphasis on real estate finance (including hotels), restructuring and general banking. James acts for banks, other financial institutions and borrowers on a range of mainstream transactions and he has both transactional and general advisory experience. The Legal 500 says James ‘is pragmatic and does whatever it takes to get the job done'. Chambers says James receives widespread praise from clients, who comment: "He's extremely diligent. He has a great grasp of the detail but is also aware of commerciality. He showed great drive to keep momentum going in the transaction."
