Biography

Mr. Frederico Porto, J.D. is the senior managing director and founding partner of REC – Real Estate Capital, exclusive advisor to the real estate asset management arm of UBS in Brazil. Prior to REC, he was a senior managing director of Brazilian Securities, the largest securitization company in Brazil, where he co-headed a 37-employee team with direct supervision over the commercial, product and the structuring/distribution teams. He was also a statutory director of Brazilian Mortgages, a real estate mortgage origination arm, where he led the product and engineering/appraisal teams from Set. 2012 to Jan. 2014, which originated over R$500 million of mortgage loans a year.
