Biography
Gian Franco Carassale serves as Division Chief – Infrastructure & Energy at IDB Invest, overseeing operations across the Caribbean, Central America, and Mexico. With over 20 years of experience in finance and international development, he specializes in structuring and financing projects in energy, transportation, water & sanitation, and social infrastructure in Latin America and the Caribbean. Carassale's expertise includes renewable energy and advising governments on infrastructure programs. He holds a Master's in Finance from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and a Bachelor's in Economics from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
