Biography
Jacobo Mekler Waisburd is the Partner and Commercial and New Business Director at Grupo Comexhidro, a Mexican energy firm. In this role, he is responsible for detecting and deploying new opportunities in wind, solar, and conventional power generation. He also serves as President of the Mexican Hydropower Association (Amexhidro). Mekler Waisburd contributes to shaping Mexico's renewable energy policies as a member of the Mexican Energy Transition Advisory Council, the Green Finance Advisory Board, and the Editorial Board of the Reforma Newspaper.
