Biography
Felipe Borim Villen serves as the Infrastructure Area Superintendent at BNDES – Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social in Brazil. He plays a pivotal role in spearheading initiatives to finance large-scale infrastructure projects, including the development of new financing instruments such as the Pacote de Estabilização de Funding para Infraestrutura (PEFI) to address market challenges like high interest rates and secure long-term funding. His expertise encompasses infrastructure financing, concessions, and public-private partnerships (PPPs), an area he researched for his 2021 Master's dissertation from FGV. Villen's work contributes to essential sectors including sanitation, urban mobility, logistics, and transportation.
