Biography
Chris Darroch was a highly experienced professional in the commercial property sector with over 20 years in fund management. As an Executive Director and Fund Director at Federated Hermes, he was responsible for overseeing the BTPS UK £4 billion real estate portfolio, ensuring all aspects of portfolio management and investment performance. His extensive career also included roles as Fund Director at Aberdeen Asset Management, where he managed over £1.2 billion for pension fund clients. Darroch co-founded Carrick Property Investment Managers and held positions at Caledonian Land, Scottish Amicable Investment Managers, and began his career as a Surveyor at Richard Ellis (now CBRE). He held a BSc in Land Economics and was a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Investment Property Forum.
