Biography
Carlos is partner in Clifford Chance since 2002 and specialises in complex transactions, such as acquisition/sale of real estate portfolios, NPLs portfolios, sale & leaseback and real estate joint ventures. He has recently advised Värde Partners on the acquisition of the Aliseda servicing platform and the credit card business from Banco Popular, TPG on the acquisition of the ServiHabitat real estate asset servicing platform, Bankia on the sale of the Foster Tower, Kennedy Wilson on the acquisition of a portfolio of retail assets. Carlos Portocarrero was the Partner responsible for the major sales and leasebacks carried out by banks in Europe.
