Alex Harvey

Alex Harvey is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Macquarie Group, a role he has held for the past eight years. Joining Macquarie in 1999, he has dedicated 27 years to the company, holding various senior executive positions including CEO Macquarie - Asia, Global Head of Telecommunications, Media, Entertainment & Technology, and Global Head of the Principal Transaction Group within Macquarie Capital. Mr. Harvey has been instrumental in transforming Macquarie's financial management and driving the group's global growth. He holds a Master of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney. Alex Harvey is set to step down from his CFO role effective December 31, 2025, with plans to retire mid-2026 after an extended handover period.
