Charlie Desmond
Biography
Brydell opportunistically invests across all UK real estate sectors, often where the asset requires re-positioning, re-letting, refurbishment or redevelopment. Charlie began his career at Goldman Sachs’ Real Estate Principal Investment Area (REPIA) where he worked on a wide variety of transactions in Europe and the UK, including portfolios, developments, non-performing loans and corporate vehicles. In his years at Goldman Sachs, Charlie was directly involved in underwriting over €5.0bn of transactions, of which €2.7bn were successfully closed. He moved to Brockton Capital in 2007 where as an Associate Partner he led the acquisition, financing and asset management of a wide range of investments throughout the UK, totalling over £500 million
