Richard Tao

Richard Tao serves as Chairman of New Heritage Group, a Hong Kong-based family office with diverse investments spanning real estate, venture capital, private equity, biotech, and IoT. A second-generation leader, he leverages decades of experience in these sectors, focusing on intergenerational cooperation and impact investing. Mr. Tao previously held the position of Vice Chairman at New Heritage Holdings Ltd. He earned a BSc (Hons) from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and dual SM degrees from MIT. He also co-founded and chaired the Hong Kong Macau and Myanmar Chamber of Commerce & Industry from 2015-2019.
