Biography
Robert Porter is a Senior Consultant at Macfarlanes LLP, where he leads the firm's private equity real estate (PERE) practice. With over 30 years of experience, he advises private equity real estate firms, sovereign funds, and financial institutions on UK and European joint ventures, real estate M&A, equity financings, and structured transactions. Robert co-authored an operational real estate report and has been involved in significant transactions, including advising Realstar and NatWest Pension Trustee Limited. He qualified as a solicitor in 1984.
