Ascan Kókai
Biography
Ascan Kókai is the Principal – Head of Hotels at ECE Real Estate Partners GmbH., overseeing the company's hotel real estate investment activities in European, urban value-add hotel assets in gateway cities. With some thirty years of international experience in hospitality real estate investments and hotel operations. His expertise spans hotel investment, asset and fund management, operating contracts, and real estate financing. Prior to ECE Real Estate Partners, Kókai was a member of the management committee for NH Hotel Group's (today Minor) Business Unit Northern Europe, responsible for expansion and optimizing a portfolio of nearly 130 hotels. He previously spent a decade at Invesco Real Estate, where he was instrumental in establishing and managing their first pan-European hotel fund with US$750m AUM. His real estate career started off at JLL Hotels in London, focusing on valuations, brokerage, and asset management.
