Rune Askevold

Rune Askevold is the Managing Director and creative director of PURO Hotels, a lifestyle hotel chain in Poland. He is also credited as the founder of the Puro chain. A Norwegian by origin, Askevold began his career in banking in the Netherlands and Germany. He later served as an investment director at Inship and a director for Choice Hotels Scandinavia. Under his leadership, PURO Hotels has expanded to seven locations in Poland, with plans for further European expansion into markets like Budapest and Prague. Askevold is known for his meticulous approach to design and his focus on creating unique, locally adapted hotel experiences.
