Biography
Luís Carita is Partner at Refundos Explorer and Board Member of Refundos, having joined the group in 2023. Refundos Explorer is a Portuguese real estate investment and development company, while Refundos is a CMVM-regulated fiduciary manager of private investment vehicles, including SICs and investment funds. With over 25 years of experience in investment management and real estate, Luís has built, structured, and managed investment platforms across Europe, Brazil, and the United States, overseeing more than €1.5 billion in assets under management throughout his career. His previous roles include Chairman of Finimus (Finibanco Group), senior executive positions within Banif Group, and leadership at Silvip SGOIC, where he led fundraising, fund structuring, and portfolio management activities. Luís is a recognized industry expert and frequent speaker at real estate and investment conferences.
