Hala El Akl

Hala El Akl is the Senior Director of ESG and Operations at Oxford Properties Group in London, where she spearheads the company's global ESG program and strategy. Her role involves integrating environmental, social, and governance considerations across asset management, operations, development, and finance/investment risk, with a key focus on decarbonization and data foundation. Previously, El Akl served as a Director at PLP Architecture for 12 years and was a founding director of PLP Labs, leading initiatives for sustainable future cities. A recognized expert, she received the ULI European Talent Award in 2020 and contributes as a ULI global trustee and to the University of Cambridge Land Economy Advisory Board.
