Roman Kogan

Roman Kogan is Global Head of Commercial Real Estate Private Lending at PIMCO. An Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager, he joined PIMCO in 2020. Mr. Kogan leads PIMCO's private commercial real estate debt business, drawing on over 20 years of investment experience. Prior to PIMCO, he spent more than a decade at Deutsche Bank, holding significant roles including European Head of Commercial Real Estate and Head of CRE Origination in the U.S. His career also includes experience in structured credit groups at Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank. Mr. Kogan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an undergraduate degree from the United States Naval Academy, where he served as a submarine officer.
