Rolf Ruhfus

Rolf E. Ruhfus is the Chairman & CEO of LodgeWorks Partners L.P., a key player in hotel development and management. With over 40 years in hospitality, Ruhfus is integral to the company's growth, managing investor relations and engaging deeply with LodgeWorks hotels and teams. Previously, Ruhfus was President of the Residence Inn Company and founded Summerfield Hotel Corporation, serving as Chairman & CEO until its acquisition. He launched brands like Summerfield Suites and Sierra Suites. His earlier roles include Director of Marketing at VARTA Battery and a management consultant at McKinsey and Company. Ruhfus holds a Ph.D. from the University of Münster, an MBA from The Wharton School, and a bachelor's from Western Michigan University. Additionally, he is Chairman & CEO of Wichita Consulting Co. LP.
