Michael Harrington
Biography
Michael Harrington serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Actis in Mexico, leveraging over 20 years of expertise in growth strategies and sustainable infrastructure. He has been pivotal in developing Actis's infrastructure business, initially leading teams in São Paulo and Mexico City across Latin America, and later expanding his influence globally as Head of Strategy. Michael also played a key role in the firm's talent development initiatives. Currently, he chairs Actis's Investment Performance Committee and is a member of its Executive, Remuneration, and investment committees. His extensive professional background includes prior experience at Arthur Andersen and NM Rothschild & Sons, and he earned an MBA with distinction from London Business School.
