Biography
Leonardo Grilo is the President Director of Gestores Prisionais Associados (GPA) in Brazil, a pioneering company in public-private partnerships (PPPs) for the correctional system. An expert in PPP structuring, he holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from USP and gained international experience with doctoral internships in Scotland and Australia, including work at Partnerships Victoria. Under his leadership, GPA manages the Complexo Penitenciário Público-Privado (CPPP) in Minas Gerais, providing advanced infrastructure, security, and programs designed for social reintegration. His role is crucial in driving innovative correctional management in Brazil.
