Biography

Javier Coll serves as Group President Global Business Development for the World of Hyatt Inclusive Collection, where he leads the global expansion of Hyatt's luxury all-inclusive portfolio. With over 25 years of experience in the international hospitality industry, he plays a pivotal role in driving the growth, development, mergers, and acquisitions for the group. Prior to his current role, Coll was Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Apple Leisure Group (ALG) and co-founder of AMResorts. He was instrumental in AMResorts becoming the largest resort brand management company in Mexico and the Caribbean, holding various leadership roles including CFO and COO. Coll holds an M.B.A. with a specialty in Taxation and a degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona, Spain, and is a Wharton GMP Graduate from the University of Pennsylvania. He began his career developing viability studies for converting traditional hotels to the all-inclusive format.
