Charles Lam

Charles Lam is a Managing Director, Real Estate at Baring Private Equity Asia (BPEA), where he focused on real estate investments across Greater China and served as an Investment Committee member. Joining BPEA in 2011, he brought extensive experience in the real estate investment industry. Previously, Dr. Lam was Managing Director, Greater China, at Pramerica Real Estate Investors (PREI), where he led over US$1 billion in real estate transactions, and held leadership positions at China Ping An Trust and AIG Global Real Estate. He began his real estate career in 1992. Dr. Lam earned a Doctor of Business Administration from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and an MBA. He is a CFA charter holder and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). BPEA joined forces with EQT in October 2022.
