Andrew Taylor

Andrew James Emery Taylor has been dealing in Asian properties since 1992 when he moved to Hong Kong with Jones Lang Wootton where he initially focused on development consultancy, valuation and research in China, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Philippines. Mr Taylor moved to BNP Paribas as a Head of Property Research in 1995 followed by similar positions at ABN Amro, Deutsche Bank AG and Societe Generale. Since joining Macquarie in 2004, Andrew has had significant involvement in the development and launch of one of MRE’s first wholesale funds investing in core retail property in China. The development of this transaction included the first ever CMBS issue secured against a Chinese real estate portfolio.
