David Aungst
Biography
David Aungst is the President of High Hotels, Ltd., a position he has held since 2008. In this role, he leads the company, which develops, owns, and operates select-service and extended-stay hotels across four states in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. Under his leadership, High Hotels Ltd. oversees 13 focused-service hotels with an annual revenue of $55 million. Aungst is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in the hospitality sector. Prior to becoming President, he held various management roles at High Hotels, including Vice President of Operations, Regional Director, and Controller. His career also includes significant experience at Marriott International in various Director of Finance roles, where he was responsible for high-revenue hotels and oversaw contractual obligations for numerous Renaissance Hotels. He also served as Controller for Prison Fellowship Ministries. David Aungst holds a degree from James Madison University.
