Peter O'Brien

Peter O'Brien is the CEO of OMC International, an Australian maritime engineering company delivering digital port solutions and e-Navigation technologies. He holds a Masters of Science in Port and Coastal Engineering from IHE Delft, The Netherlands, and an Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School. With over 30 years of experience in maritime and civil engineering, including over 15 years at OMC, he leads the company's day-to-day operations. Peter is instrumental in advancing OMC's world-leading DUKC® technology, which ensures safe navigation and maximises productivity in ports globally. He also drives innovation in AIS Big Data Analytics and fosters collaborations, exemplified by "The PIER" initiative, to address industry challenges.
