Stephanie Barr serves as Vice-President, Real Estate ESG Investment Strategy & Management at Harrison Street Real Estate Capital. In this role, she leads the firm's ESG strategy, encompassing climate risk, decarbonization, and ESG reporting for investment entities. Barr is also a leader on Harrison Street's AI Committee, leveraging technology to enhance sustainable real estate investment strategies. Her expertise includes quantifying the financial impact of ESG initiatives within portfolios, such as utility efficiency and social programs. Prior to Harrison Street, she worked as a sustainability management consultant, guiding real estate private equity clients on sustainability programs, and was an Assistant Director at the Institute for the Built Environment at Colorado State University, focusing on built environment research.
