Biography

Rosane Santos is the Corporate Sustainability Director at Bahia Mineração (BAMIN) in Brazil. Joining BAMIN in early 2022, she is recognized as a pioneer in ESG in Brazil. Rosane holds an Executive MBA from Oxford University, a degree in Accounting from UERJ, and a specialization in Finance from UFF. With over 15 years of experience in corporate governance, auditing, and compliance, she now leads BAMIN's comprehensive ESG strategy. Her focus is on driving sustainable development, diversity, equity, and inclusion within the mining sector, significantly contributing to the integration of sustainability into major projects like the Pedra de Ferro mine, Fiol railway, and Porto Sul.
