Deniz Baharoglu

Deniz Baharoglu is the Manager, Environment, Social and Governance Sustainability at IFC - International Finance Corporation. She joined IFC in 2015, bringing over 30 years of extensive experience in social and environmental sustainability. Prior to her role at IFC, Ms. Baharoglu managed the Environment, Social and Integrity teams at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), part of the World Bank Group. Her expertise includes operational and analytical work in areas such as sustainability, housing, and poverty reduction. Dr. Baharoglu holds a Ph.D. in Urban Studies – Sociology and Social Policy from the University of Kent at Canterbury in the United Kingdom.
