Biography
Karen Mora is the Director of Sustainability at Fibra UNO, the largest Real Estate Investment Trust in Latin America. She is instrumental in integrating ESG criteria into Fibra UNO's strategy, with a goal for 100% of new debt to be sustainability-linked by 2032. Under her leadership, Fibra UNO has achieved significant reductions in water intensity, emissions, and energy consumption, and is recognized in international sustainability indices like DJSI and S&P's Sustainability Yearbook. Mora holds a Master's in Environmental Governance from the United Nations University, Tokyo, and a specialization in Sustainable Finance from Oxford University. She also presides over key sustainability committees for the Mexican Stock Exchange, the Mexican Association of FIBRAS, and the Urban Land Institute, solidifying her expertise in sustainable finance and real estate.
