Biography

Rodrigo Mattos Assunção is the CEO of Atiaia Renováveis, a company controlled by Grupo Cornélio Brennand, a position he assumed in March 2022. He joined Grupo Cornélio Brennand in 2018, initially serving as CFO and leading the Strategy and New Business areas. With a background in Economic and Accounting Sciences, Mr. Assunção brings over 21 years of experience in finance, strategic planning, marketing, and human resources, including roles at prominent companies like Solar Coca-Cola and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Cornélio Brennand
The Cornélio Brennand Group, established in 1917, is a Brazilian conglomerate that focuses on renewable energy (Atiaia Renováveis), flat glass production (Vivix Vidros Planos), and real estate (Iron House), with interests in cement. Based in Pernambuco, it operates in several Brazilian states. Committed to ESG and sustainability, it is part of the UN Global Compact. Atiaia Renováveis recently entered the energy retail market.
