Biography

Silvana Bianco serves as an Energy and Infrastructure Director and Principal Investment Officer at IDB Invest, the private sector arm of the Inter-American Development Bank, located in São Paulo, Brazil. Since joining in August 2020, she has been instrumental in originating and structuring projects across the Infrastructure and Energy sectors. Bringing over 25 years of extensive experience in financial services from institutions like ABN, Banco Itau BBA, and Societé Generale, Silvana is an expert in Project Finance and asset finance. Her profound expertise lies in advising and arranging complex cross-border and local financing transactions in Latin America, particularly within the Energy, Oil & Gas, Shipping, Water & Sanitation, and broader Infrastructure industries.
