Brian Skurnik

Brian Skurnik is a Principal at Midwood Capital Partners, bringing over 25 years of commercial real estate lending and management experience. He specializes in new business origination, structuring, underwriting, and risk management across various real estate financing products. Previously, he served as a Managing Director and Head of Commercial Real Estate at Pacific Western Bank (formerly CapitalSource) for over 13 years. Brian also held key positions at Barclays Capital, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers, and Heller Financial, building lending platforms and originating commercial real estate loans. He is a graduate of Brooklyn College with a degree in Business, Management & Finance and has been an adjunct professor at NYU Shack School of Real Estate.
