Thais Mello

Thais Lobato de Mello is an Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Brazil, integral to the Infrastructure Upstream LAC team. She plays a crucial role in projects like the Upstream U4C LAC Scoping Platform, aiming to create partnerships with state-owned water and sanitation utilities through technical advisory and investment solutions. Her expertise spans the Energy, Transport, and Telecom sectors, where she develops and coordinates studies and projects. Before IFC, Thais gained over a decade of experience in Brazil's infrastructure sectors, focusing on financing, due diligence, financial modeling, debt structuring, and equity investments.
