Claus Mathisen

Claus Mathisen is CEO & Partner at NREP, a leading Nordic real estate investor that is now part of Urban Partners. Appointed CEO of NREP in 2018, he previously served as CEO of Pelican Self Storage from 2008-2017, transforming it into a top European self-storage company. With a background from Boston Consulting Group and J.P. Morgan, Mathisen drives NREP's focus on customer-centric and sustainable real estate solutions. Under his leadership, NREP set an ambitious target to fully decarbonize its portfolio by 2028. As CEO of Urban Partners, he oversees diverse platforms aimed at improving urban life, managing €19B in assets.
