John Ratcliffe
Biography
John Ratcliffe is Managing Director, Head of Asia Pacific Real Estate at Barings, based in Sydney, Australia. Appointed in June 2020, he is responsible for developing Barings' pan-Asian and Australian real estate platform, covering both equity and debt. His role includes sourcing investment opportunities and assisting with capital raising across the region. With over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, John previously served for 12 years as Executive Director for Real Estate Transactions and Capital Raising at Challenger Financial Services Group. He holds an MBA from Bond University. Prior to Barings, he led over 65 institutional transactions valued at more than $3.5 billion across the Asia Pacific region.
