Biography
José Gomes da Costa served as the Interim President of BNB Banco do Nordeste do Brasil. A dedicated career employee with 38 years of service at the institution, he also held the position of Financial and Credit Director, a role he initially accumulated with the interim presidency. Prior to these appointments, he distinguished himself as the State Superintendent for Bahia. Mr. da Costa's academic background includes a degree in Economics and a Master's in Economics from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, complemented by an MBA in Finance from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and specialized banking formation, also from FGV.
