Biography

Ashish Upadhyay, an IAS officer of the 1989 batch (Madhya Pradesh cadre), served as Special Secretary & Financial Advisor at the Ministry of Power, Government of India. He holds post-graduate degrees in History, Economics, and Public Administration from Syracuse University. With over 31 years in civil services, he held key roles in Madhya Pradesh and as Joint Secretary, Coal, where he leveraged space technology to curb illegal mining. He also served as a Government Nominee Director on the Boards of NTPC and HUDCO.
