Biography

Luiz Carlos Hauly serves as an Advisor to Senator Roberto Rocha at the Federal Senate of Brazil. An esteemed economist and professor, he brings extensive experience in Brazilian politics and fiscal policy. Hauly previously served seven mandates as a Federal Deputy, where he was a key figure in tax reform, notably as an author and rapporteur of significant tax laws, including the Lei do SuperSimples and PEC 110. He also held roles as Mayor of Cambé and twice as Secretary of Finance for Paraná, demonstrating deep expertise in public administration and economic affairs.
