Biography
Fernando González serves as CEO of Cerro Dominador, a pioneering renewable energy company. With over 25 years of executive experience, he has been instrumental in the development and operation of the Cerro Dominador 210 MW solar complex in Chile. This complex, featuring a 110 MW Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) plant and a 100 MW photovoltaic plant, is the first thermosolar facility in Latin America, providing 24/7 clean energy through 17.5 hours of thermal storage. His extensive background encompasses traditional and renewable energy, complex project financing, and global operations management. He previously led Grupo Cerro, which included this significant project, demonstrating his deep industry expertise.
