Sumit Gera
Biography
Sumit Gera is the CEO of India Business Park at CapitaLand Investment (CLI), where he drives growth initiatives and expansion of CLI’s business parks portfolio. His expertise spans investments, asset management, and fund management. Since joining CapitaLand in 2016, Sumit has held leadership roles across various business verticals, including as Portfolio Manager for the SGX-listed CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT) and Head of CLI’s India private funds business. Prior to joining CLI, Sumit led India and Australia private equity real estate investments at Partners Group AG. Sumit actively champions responsible investments and sustainability initiatives to create long term shareholder value. Under his leadership, CLI’s business parks in India continue to evolve as future-ready, sustainable ecosystems that support the growth of local ecosystems and global enterprises.
