Ted Roy
Biography
Ted Roy serves as a RE Deputy Fund Manager at abrdn in Singapore, contributing to the firm's real estate investment strategies. With extensive experience in the real estate sector, his career at abrdn, dating back to September 2007, includes previous roles such as Investment Director and Deputy Fund Manager for the flagship Global Real Estate Fund. Roy has been instrumental in acquisitions, disposals, and asset management, also leading ESG initiatives within the real estate division. Notably, he played a key role in abrdn's acquisition of its first Singapore asset for its global real estate portfolio in 2020, significantly diversifying its Asia Pacific investment footprint.
